/01CONTEXT
The Ontario Land Trust Alliance (OLTA) Climate Action Program encourages community learning and action around climate change and climate adaptation through conservation and restoration efforts. The program aims to increase capacity for Ontario’s land trust community to respond to climate change.
/02CHALLENGE
Communicate the nature-based climate solutions land trusts provide to both OLTA’s land trust partners and community members.
/03SOLUTION
Working with three regional land trusts, Evermaven focused on sharing their climate change story through series of short videos. Using the frame “Land Trust Heroes”, these videos highlighted individual’s conservation efforts on the ground, their connection to land and the broader ways land trusts can provide natural solution to climate change. In tandem with these videos, we also helped develop communications resources for OLTA through photography, infographics and social media assets.
