/01CONTEXT

The Royal Ontario Museum sent an expedition team of scientists to the world’s third largest island, nestled between Southeast Asia and Australia, to learn about insects, bats, and mushrooms.

/02CHALLENGE

Retrace the steps of a 1978 expedition by the Royal Geographical Society to keep up with the ROM scientists and document the whole expedition—from the museum’s doorstep to the swamps of the rainforest.

/03SOLUTION

Evermaven deployed a two-person MAVEN team to Borneo and then produced a documentary film of the expedition.
