/01CONTEXT
In a bid to innovate after years of issuing traditional newsletters, the Nature Conservancy of Canada (NCC) sought Evermaven’s expertise. Their goal: Craft a captivating quarterly magazine to deepen ties with donors and engage a wider audience.
/02CHALLENGE
Crafting a magazine for NCC required more than just showcasing their vision and achievements; it had to inspire support. We needed to weave calls to action seamlessly into the narrative, urging readers to contribute without breaking the magazine’s appeal. Maintaining a consistent design and voice while adhering to tight editorial deadlines also posed challenges.
/03SOLUTION
During our collaborative planning, we devised a vision for the magazine’s redesigned issue, setting a design precedent for subsequent editions. We then prioritized narratives that brought to life NCC’s impact across Canada — with our art direction, curating photography, illustrations, and infographics, focused on deepening readers’ connection to NCC’s conservation stories. Constant dialogue with NCC’s leadership ensured our designs truly represented their brand. Since its launch, the magazine has become a cornerstone of NCC’s donor engagement strategy.
