/01CONTEXT
The International Gorilla Conservation Programme (IGCP) is a unique coalition of international conservation organizations joining forces with national and local partners to ensure the long-term survival of the now endangered mountain gorillas.
/02CHALLENGE
In the mountainous forests of central Africa live the last remaining mountain gorillas. Now endangered, mountain gorillas number barely a thousand. This story needed to be told in images.
/03SOLUTION
Evermaven partnered with a suite of collaborators to realize the visual storytelling that both depicted the plight of the mountain gorillas and showcased the heroic conservation work being conducted on the ground. Our photographic prowess was highlighted in the 50th Earth Day anniversary of Smithsonian Magazine and garnered us a Communication Arts award.
